Poem 229
Simple evocation of a moment …
( I like foggy as an image for a vein deep under the skin and the way over-pumped moon works both for what comes before (eyes) and after (milk bubble) … )
Feeding
tug tug
little fish mouth
the bald butt for milk
lips slippery
eyes milky and blue
huge filling their sockets
like an over-pumped moon
a bubble of milk
swelling
and shrinking between the pulse of lips
swelling and shrinking
against the deep blue foggy vein
of the breast
mouth heart
pulsing
little mouth
perfect heart
