Glimpsed from the car window on Salamanca Rd … before social media the personal column of the newspaper was full of cryptic communications and quixotic appeals for information and resolution … I would have been able to sleep easier knowing the gawky guy prevailed (meaning I’d like to live in a world where he did) …

perhaps brothers
seen walking towards the Squash Courts
last Wednesday
a racquet in each bag
one man all angles where the other was straight
one in walk-shorts with socks pulled up
the other smooth and unruffled
walking eager side
by cool side
