Better to give than receive …

Declaration

I love you

there you are
                            said

I was about to follow up
with a hardly know you 
                                               as well
but what difference 
does it make
I produce you in a dream
when everyone else can only pull
dirty cards from their wallets

should I add
and you don't care for me
particularly

                         well ...
        that's not the point
        is it?
